CRU's work is supported by many individuals, groups and agencies throughout Queensland. CRU could not function without this support and the many co-operative arrangements we have. Financially, CRU receives recurrent funding from Disability Services Queensland as an information service. Much of CRU's work is funded through income from workshops and fee-for-service consultancy work.

CRU has also received project grants from The Gaming Machine Community Benefit Fund, equipment grants from Jupiter's Casino Community Benefit Fund and donations of software from Microsoft through the Community Access Initiative program.
