Education & Development ProgramCOURSES AND INFORMATIONWhy CRU?CRU exists to support the development of authentic change that enhances the opportunities for people with disabilities to belong to community life. CRU's aims are to:
CRU CoursesCRU currently offers three types of education and training programs: OPEN EVENTS: CRU's workshops are open to any interested service workers, people with disabilities, family members of people with disabilities, and interested community members. CRU schedules a yearly calendar of events across Queensland, often working with local communities to develop these events. Events range from half-day workshops to five day training courses. Please contact us for more information or if you would like workshops in your area. IN-HOUSE TRAINING: CRU can modify existing courses to meet specific needs of organisations and can design courses to meet the needs of particular organisations. This work often includes values-based training events, and individual and team development. COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT: CRU works with local communities to address issues of inclusion for people with disabilities.
